There was this history at the time of my youth
When I studied in medical academy, it was necessary to earn additionally to me the watchman in a local mortuary. Then I didn't get used to see yet dead persons constantly, but money was necessary. Therefore I came every evening without truancies and delay to the terrible refrigerator. I worked not one. Together with me the student the pathologist worked. Dead men - audience peace and quiet! Therefore we with Volodya not especially strained on night watches. Sometimes into our duties entered to wash and improve cosmetics some bodies. Once to us charged to order one special client. Said that this dead man was during lifetime the local authoritative bandit. also he died not the death... Having come in the evening to work, we with Vovka went to look for the necessary body. More than an hour we spent for searches of the client. In the specified place there was no dead man necessary to us. Having found a body, we sent it to the operational room. But in midnight of a corpse there it didn't appear. Having spent for searches almost all night long, only by the morning we could start cosmetic operations.
Unfortunately, the same client waited for us and the next night! In the second watch we were prompter and in advance prepared a body for processing.As soon as Vova started processing a body, the dead man pulled a hand. From surprise both of us shuddered. Vova explained that such reactions happen. But, the night closer approached, the dead man on a table before us became more active. After a while to us it bothered to be frightened constantly involuntary movements... When we with Volodya left the operational room on a smoke break, the squeezed mutter behind was heard. Till the morning we surveyed a body, trying to define his death degree
Certainly, this night we again didn't make the ordered work! Our chief laughed over our fears, but any collectings didn't begin to appoint! Since then I am not afraid of dead persons and absolutely quietly I treat foreign death. Being the doctor, I know now that dead men sometimes make convulsive movements or могт to make chaotic sounds But now I don't advise to young inexperienced medical students to work in a mortuary at night! I consider that it is necessary to gain experience gradually and with smaller victims
